January Date!

Josh and I kicked off our year of 2010 dates with some snowshoeing in Bend. It was such a beautiful weekend! There was fresh snow and it was so sunny! Nothing more beautiful.

My hubby!
The highest point of our trip. We snowshoed to 6800'. It was so clear, we could see Broken Top, South Sister, Middle Sister and Mt. Jefferson!Just me in the snow!
We had such a wonderful time! Cant wait for February's date!

A sweet Saturday

My best friend, Ashley, her husband Chris and their son Karter came to visit! It was so nice to see them and hold Karter, he is so stinkin handsome!
All it takes is a baby to put a smile on your face!

2010

Twenty-Ten, Two-Thousand-Ten... whatever we are calling it these days. HAPPY NEW YEAR! We started our evening with dinner at the Ram. Gotta love their food and beer! Then off we went to Masaki's house to celebrate, it was very laid back. Watched Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve and played a little poker! It was the ultimate laid back holiday.
Those buffalo wings had no chance!
We could not get a good picture the whole night!!

The two hour blizzard!

We don't get much snow here in the Willamette Valley so when it does snow all life stops! We were all sent home from work and its all that the news could talk about! Really people?!? We had 2-3 inches! It was beautiful though!

Happy Birthday Josh!

We went pretty low key for Josh's birthday this year! We are pretty die-hard Monday Night Football fans so we had some people over to watch the game! We also had tacos, margaritas and tequila! What a night!
Emily (Josh's sister), me, Michelle and Ryan

Josh and Masaki, who is obviousley upset about a call from the ref.

Ahhh, Jewell.

The day after Christmas was a beautiful one! There was frost on the ground, the sun was out and we were out in the country! So, Josh, Tom, Mom and I decided to take a walk up Jones Rd and do a little shooting (just for fun).
We try to be intense... but it just looks ridiculous!
My hubby at the top of the hill! I love being back home, its so beautiful!

Christmas!

Davidson Christmas take 1: We started the events over at Grandma Teddy's on Christmas eve. Complete with prime rib, turkey, drinking wine and a cut-throat game of white elephant.

Davidson Christmas take 2: Christmas eve (after grandmas) we went to Josh's parents and opened presents there. All eight of us! It was a wonderful eventing!

Davidson Christmas take 3: Josh and I woke up at our place Christmas morning and had our first Christmas together! It was a fabulous morning, relaxing and just so fun! After we were done we packed up and drove to my parents for yet another Christmas.

Davidson Christmas take 4: (final take) We arrived at my parents on Christmas day and headed to the Johnston's to have Christmas dinner with them. All three of the boys were home and it just seemed fitting that we all get together for dinner! It was so much fun! Learned a new card game too... Sticks! Then we headed home to open presents with my parents!

The hunt for the perfect tree!

Josh and I decided to have a day full of adventures searching for our first Christmas tree! We started at his cousins tree farm and decided all of the trees were too perfect, they were all bushy and just looked like giant green triangles. Next we drove to a tree farm no where near where we had started and found it... the perfect tree. A beautiful, not quite symmetrical Noble Fir! It was perfect for us!

Once we got home we had to do some trimming before we could fit it into the tree stand. It was beautiful once we had it all decorated! (I couldn't get a good picture, it either looked like it was all lights or no lights... the pictures just do not do it justice)

A visit to Becky

I decided to stop by and visit Becky after work. I used to provide care for Becky, before I started working at Windsor. I loved watching her, so full of smiles and she was so sneaky! I sure miss her and her family!!!

I caught her on a really good day too!!
